The Bachelor 6 The Bachelor is an American reality dating show that debuted on ABC in 2002 and is ready to kickoff it’s 21st season! The show has been hosted by Chris Harrison since Season 1 and has produced three spinoff series: The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad and Bachelor in Paradise . The Bachelor 2017 will debut with Nick Viall looking for the woman of his dreams. For this show, it consists of one gentleman coming on to find his future wife. The season starts with anywhere from 25 to 30 women fighting for that final rose. Throughout the season, they will go on different types of dates: one-on-one dates, group dates, two-on-one dates, overnight dates and hometown dates.
